MY TRAINING PHILOSOPHY AND COACHING METHOD

My training philosophy for both myself and my clients is centred on functional movement, prioritising strength and mobility that translate to everyday life.

Functional training is all about exercises that help you move better in your everyday life. Instead of just focusing on one muscle at a time, it works multiple muscles and joints together, so your body moves in a natural, coordinated way.

What Makes Functional Training Different?

Everyday Movements: The exercises copy things you do daily, like squatting, lifting, twisting, and bending.

Move in All Directions: It works on your ability to move smoothly and confidently in different directions.

Core Strength: Many exercises build a strong and stable core, which supports your whole body.

Practical Benefits: The idea is to get stronger, more mobile, and fitter in ways that make daily activities, sports, or even your job easier and safer.

Examples of Functional Exercises:

Squats, Deadlifts, Push-ups, Kettlebell swings, Farmer’s carries, Medicine ball throws

It’s great for anyone, no matter your fitness level, because you can adjust it to suit your needs and goals. Functional training isn’t just about working out—it’s about moving and living better.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Personal training is ideal if you prefer a more hands-on, personalised approach to your fitness journey.

I can help you getting started with some weightlifting, we can work towards your weight-loss goals or simply get you stronger if that is what you are after.

Whatever your goal may be, reach out to me, and we’ll take it from there.
